2013-02-19Byron Scott Expresses Condolences to the Buss Family
We would like to extend out condolences to the Buss family and the entire Laker organization. Your loss is a loss for all of us. Dr. Buss had a great impact on myself, my family and my career. He provided me the first opportunity to play professional basketball for the NBA in my home city of Los Angeles and gave me security and comfort most players are not able to enjoy. The continual support and family dynamic Dr. Buss established at the Laker organization assisted me with the development to reach the current level I have obtained as a professional coach in the NBA. Dr. Buss is one of a kind and has had tremendous impact on my life as well as the entire Southern California region. He will be missed.
